I believe I've received a fraudulent email today. Do you normally send out a broadcast email to all subscribers when something like this happens?
There was a couple sent out here, but it is very weird for Shaw to mass-broadcast information via email, there were a few posted on this site today though.
There seems to have been a large amount of phishing emails sent out today in regards to "Shaw Account Deletion" this is definitely a fraudulent email. Please forward any of these examples to email@example.com
Hey kimba, just a slight adjustment on this, can you forward examples of any phishing emails (looking to get your account information) to firstname.lastname@example.org? We actually have a document on how to identify messages like this: How to identify phishing or scam emails
Is this an example of phishing?
That is the most recent phishing email. It was sent to many of our customers today. Click their link and it leads to a copy of our site and tries to get you to enter your account information.
Thanks Lance. Good to know.
I just went though it,
It doesn't matter what you enter for user/pass, then asks for address, postal code, birthday, then on the 3rd screen, credit card information, at least this one is virus free
Then links to this community's billing section.
This one is trying to get credit cards, if anybody actually cares
