PVR is not in service. Called Support and was advised to format the external hard disk. In other words, I will lost all my recordings in the last two years. Is there any other alternative way to make it working again.
Is there a prompt coming on screen with a Yes/No option concerning formatting.
Sometimes, when this comes up it means that the HDD is corrupt and will not function until it is formatted again. In which case, losing the recordings is unavoidable.
Sometimes, we can select No and the PVR will reconnect normally and we will still be able to access the recordings.
Is it a Pace or Motorola Set top box you are using?
