No Video signal

Why does TV tuned to cable 11 (Global TV) directly via cable (i.e. no  digital box) getting intermittent 'no video signal' while other channels still work? Tried getting through phone support, but gave up after being on hold for an hour (when the recording estimated 20 minutes)
