I have unplugged and restarted but still my digital box just has a Blue light and the letters APP on it.
Hi. Sorry no one responded to you. Are your channels working now or is your HD PVR still stuck on APP? This usually means the signal isn't getting through. Unplugging it is the right first step. After that, try reconnecting the coaxial cable and then pulling the power cord again.
If after unplugging and restarting, sometimes it returns to APP if it is not getting adequate power. If you have this digital box plugged into a power bar, you may want to bypass the bar and put this digital box direct to a wall power socket. One final note also, anytime you unplug power on digital boxes, please keep off power for minimum 30 seconds to enable to good power reset, often times if unplugged and immediate reconnecting will not properly do a reset.
