bought a new TV, pvr says service not available
Is it a new PVR or one you had prior to purchasing the TV. What Model # of PVR is it ?
ITs one we have had for close to 3 yrs. Model is DC758D

Yes a Pace Summit, it becomes a dual tuner PVR when an Expander is connect. Is the external Hard drive plugged into electricity?. If it is we can follow these instructions below. Cheers

As Kent_88 suggested, it is likely that the Pace Summit (DC758D) isn't getting a signal from the expander.
In summary from https://community.shaw.ca/docs/DOC-1044 -
1. Make sure that the expander is getting electric power.
2. Then make sure that the cable connecting the Pace and the expander is secure on both ends
3. Next, pull the power cord to the Pace for 30 seconds
That should restore communication between the Pace and the expander.
