After the problems this morning we are now getting phones calls but when we phone out the person on the other end can not hear us
The first thing I'd suggest doing to correct that is to reset your phone modem. That is the device we installed for your phone service - similar to your Internet modem but larger.

It's possible that your modem is made by Arris instead of Motorola. The process is almost the same for both.
