Go-Wifi not functional is this service used mainly for advertising? I have tried for a few weeks now and have never been able to get it to work. Has anyone ever got on this?
Shaw Go WiFi is certainly a functional service and we can help you get this working. What kind of errors are you seeing when you try to connect? Have you tried this at multiple locations?

Ok, I think you need to get me past the following obstacles. First, if I try to login it just goes to a page that says, "try again later." All the time it says that for weeks now. Second, you say, well you better add the MAC address. So go to your account click on internet and then click on Shaw go wifi. I do that and I get the page"We're sorry. There seems to be something wrong." So, I am thinking'" yup, this don"t work." But, if you can get me through..Well then perhaps. But I am still thinking "Na, dam Shaw just advertising some kinda deal to lure more people." That's what I am thinking...Because it really don't work. So, if when you can get this working let me know...
With that, something might be 'broken' on your account? The service does work though, I don't use it much, but it does work...
I have Shaw Go Wifi on my own Android phone and it works great for me. After I installed the app, I logged in with my @shaw.ca address, and now it automatically connects to the nearest Shaw wifi site.
As for why it's not working for you, are you using an active @shaw.ca email address? One way to test is to go to webmail.shaw.ca and verify that you can log in.
Next, are there any other @shaw.ca email addresses on your account that are already accessing the Shaw Go Wifi sites? Keep in mind device limits as per Shaw Go WiFi Finder App
Next, uninstall and reinstall the app. I've found many issues on my own phone can be fixed by doing this.
