When do I need to get the digital box to continue watching certain channels? What date does my old service stop?
Have you received a letter from us regarding our Digital Network Upgrade in your area? We are mailing out letters regarding the need for a digital box for the Tier 1 - 3 channels in areas where the DNU changes are taking place. In these areas we're also displaying scrolling banners on channels that will require a digital box after the DNU. If you haven't yet received a letter from us regarding this, or if you haven't noticed the banners on analogue stations within the Tier 1 - 3 packages, then it's most likely that we haven't set a date for the upgrade in your area.
Please note that the DNU will only affect stations above Basic TV on televisions that do not have a digital box connected. We have more information regarding the DNU available here: https://community.shaw.ca/docs/DOC-1713
