Changed from standard box to HD Box but it does not work with the new box. Have unplugged a couple of time and restarted but no success - any advice? Motorola Box shows time but TV only shows message Server did not respond - re-trying
Has the terminal been activated since you hooked it up?
As kevinds mentioned, this message may be appearing if the HD box hasn't been activated, or if the activation command didn't go through properly. Have you had a chance to review our activation guide, available here: https://community.shaw.ca/docs/DOC-1290?
If the terminal has been activated but you're still noticing that message, please try to disconnect and reconnect the coaxial cable at each end (back of the HD box and at the wall cable outlet). This will help ensure that the HD box has a strong connection to our network.
Thanks for your help. Box was activated. I have done what you have said but did not work, still got same message. Had to call shaw they had to set back the box and then finally it worked.
