DCX3510 - incomplete recording

I have approximately 95% space available yet I recorded a 3 hour program but it ends after 1 hour and 55 minutes even though it shows 2:59:51 recorded. Is there any fix for this issue or is this just another one of those special features of the DCX3510 that customers have to endure. I have powered the box on and off as I do this on a regular basis as it is the only way to live with the box. This did not fix the issue. This is the first recording beyond 1 hour I have viewed. Any suggestion will be appreciated. I do have an older box on a second tv that can be used if I am aware of the maximum recording time the DXC3510 can handle.
