A couple days ago I noticed I was having DNS issues. Some pages would sit there and load then timeout, but some pages would load just fine.
Speed tests indicated speeds were great for my Shaw50.(~49mpbs down / ~3 mpbs up)
As a tech support analyst by day, did all sorts of troubleshooting including power cycles galore on modem and router, factory resets and re-configs, etc.
Finally set my PC adapter to use 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11 and the trouble pages, including any at shaw.ca, finally loaded.
Came here and noticed others were having same issue, as well as a friend of mine. Phew! Not my devices' fault!
My Cisco DPC3825 DOCSIS 3.0 Gateway pulls in:
I can only get all pages to load if I set PC adapter to use static Google public addresses per above.
So to any Shaw admins, is there anything going on with your DNS?
