I Was having the same issue - although I've been a customer for a long time. Try the instructions under the S0A00 error message thread. That solved my problem.
I'm sorry we didn't reply to your post until now. We were experiencing an issue with our new HD Guide cable boxes on the 5th, although this was resolved around 7PM Pacific Time.
