My home phone is not working now, it said check tel line. What can I do now?
If you don't have a dial tone, the first step is to check your phone terminal.
Does the phone terminal have four solid green lights? If lights are all on, the issue is between the phone terminal and the wall jacks. One way to test is by connecting your phone directly to the TEL1/TEL2 port on the bottom of the phone terminal.
If you don't have four solid green lights, reconnect the coaxial cable between the phone terminal and the wall outlet. If there's a splitter, do the same on both ends of the splitter.
