Hi, I'm a new internet customer on Shaw. I currently have McAfee, which I buy yearly for all my PCs, so should I also sign up for Shaw Secure?
Good afternoon dihowe
As a Shaw Internet customer, Shaw Secure is included for free. So it would be best to actually discontinue your paid subscription to McAfee (or let it expire) and then use Shaw Secure instead. It's powered by McAfee, so it should function similarly to what you already have, but won't cost you anything You'd want to uninstall your current McAfee product first, and then proceed to install Shaw Secure.
If for any reason you prefer to use the McAfee product that you've paid for, that is perfectly fine. But it is not necessary to have both.
Here's an overview of the process involved, and the features included: Shaw Secure Overview
