My landline does not work as it says to check tel line. I have unplugged and plugged back in and nothing
I'm sorry to hear that your landline isn't working properly. Normally this message on the phone line will mean that the line is engaged; however, this is usually caused by a loose connection between a phone jack and the a phone base, or the digital phone modem and a wall phone jack.
How many handset bases do you have in your home? Have you had a chance to disconnect all of them from both power and the phone jacks, and reconnect one at a time?
