Sometimes the attachment is missing when I receive emails. I can see the attachment in webmail. Seems to happen more when the attachment is a pdf file.
When you log into Webmail, the attachment is there. But when you download the email into Windows Mail, the attachment is sometimes missing?
The first likely culprit is Windows Mail itself. In Windows Mail, go to Tools --> Options --> Security. Unclick "do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus".
If attachments are still being blocked, the next likely culprit is your antivirus program. If the program is scanning your emails for viruses, it might be stripping the email of any attachments that it deems suspicious.
What do you normally use to receive emails?
Is there an option to limit attachment size enabled?
I am using windows mail with vista. I am not sure where to find that option.
