I am trying to set up Outlook 2013 and I get the message that Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing (SMTP) e-mail server. What is the fix for this
Which settings do you have set for the SMTP server? Are you using a Shaw Cable internet connection right now? Or another providers?

I'd definitely recommend reviewing that document, to ensure that the information that you've entered into the settings in Outlook matches what's listed in the set-up steps.
