a few days ago the power went out at our house, ever since then i haven't been able to turn on my cable. its motorola dcx3200 and in the front it reads E 1:9'7. is this a problem i can fix or do i need someone to come out here.
I realize it was a power outage that caused this issue, but have you tried power cycling it? (Unplug it for a few seconds then plug it back in.)
That tends to sort out many issues, though not all.
