I connected my Samsung tv and getting a "Not Supported Mode" note on the screen. I have plugged in the hdmi cable and it is powered on. the portals 2 blue lights are on.
Try holding the "Menu" & up arrow buttons on the front of the panel of the portal. Then you can change the output resolution using left and right arrows. Then press "OK" to enter. Once you have picture you can go in to the Gateway menu to finish setting it up: https://community.shaw.ca/docs/DOC-1021#arris
