yesterday around 4 pm our tv went to no signal and we can't seem to get it to work. Our internet and phone still work. So what is the problem.

There are a couple things that may cause that to happen. Seeing a "No Signal" message on your TV usually means that the TV itself isn't getting any video signal on the input/source that it's displaying. So for example, if you had the TV on HDMI mode, then turned your HD box off, that is likely what you would see on screen.
A few things to start with:
-Make sure your cable box is turned on
-Set your TV to the correct input/source (HDMI for example)
-Check and make sure the physical connection between your cable box and TV is secure. If it looks okay, try unplugging it and plugging it back in on both ends.
