In webmail on my laptop or iPad, how do I attach a file or photo(s) to outgoing mail? I don't see a button.
Using the Exchange account type, the emails will be deleted from both your iPad and iPhone, but not your PC, if your PC hasn't been on to download new messages, it won't download the ones you delete, otherwise your PC doesn't sync which emails have been read/deleted, it only downloads the ones on the server
iPad, no idea, but using my computer, I get this
Thanks. I'm not seeing that button on Shaw webmail on my iPad, or many of the other options. Seems like a simplified version. I'll try and get some more info from Shaw directly.
It is a simplied version for the iPad... Is it there when you use your computer?
For your iPad, try setting up an email account using the email application, seeing if you can add at attachment then,
Does your laptop let you add an attachment as normal?
Having computer problems so my reply was delayed. I can add attachments on Shaw webmail when I use my PC, but the simplified Shaw webmail on my iPad has no such option. Seems like a major oversight. I searched for a Shaw app for webmail but there isn't one.
I didn't mean a Shaw app for webmail, I ment the email client built into the iPad.
I had deactivated that feature because I was tired of having to delete the same old e-mails from so many different sources: PC, iPhone, and iPad. I may have to restart it. But that raises another issue: why do I have to delete the same e-mails from each device? It seems like unnecessary repetition.
Thanks for the reply.
Hopefully an update comes to the PC mail programs that allows them to use the Exchange account type too... Then PCs will work like this too. Or Shaw get IMAP enabled on their servers would work too
