Can only get one channel

I'm new to Shaw. Have the gateway system.  I fell asleep watching tv (channel 18). I wake up and the channel I was watching, is now the only channel I can get. Every channel I hit says I need to subscribe to it by call Shaw at 1-888- etc etc.

Remote wasn't near me so it's not as if a button was hit. Very frustrating. Anyone have any ideas?
