For the past year my Shaw Modem (Cisco DPC3825) has continuously been losing connection after 2-48hrs. Whenever it drops connection all the lights on the modem appear to be on. The only way to get it to work again is to do a reset on the modem. It is all devices connected to my wifi network, and all devices connected to the modem that loose connection. I am 100% certain that it is the modem or shaws fault because i can still ping the router and devices directly connected to the modem loose connection aswell. I have changed the locations of the modem twice but still no improvements. I have tried both Wireless Modem Mode and Bridge Mode on the modem but still it is dropping connection in every location. All cables and cords are properly connected. It is very annoying to have to constantly reset the modem.
