Today I've noticed high latency in general, for example while pinging I am frequently getting pings in the 1000 ms range. Normally it's in the 15-30 ms range.

A sample from ping:

64 bytes from icmp_seq=299 ttl=56 time=918.622 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=300 ttl=56 time=938.156 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=301 ttl=56 time=961.377 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=302 ttl=56 time=982.889 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=303 ttl=57 time=1001.723 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=304 ttl=56 time=1034.600 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=305 ttl=57 time=1074.406 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=306 ttl=56 time=1043.964 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=307 ttl=57 time=1069.088 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=308 ttl=56 time=1151.637 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=309 ttl=57 time=1147.929 ms

64 bytes from icmp_seq=310 ttl=56 time=1147.698 ms

--- ping statistics ---

312 packets transmitted, 309 packets received, 1.0% packet loss

round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 11.206/859.714/1362.229/280.588 ms

I also ran shaw's own speedtest, and got a ping of 632 ms, the download and upload speeds seemed fine. Just a very high ping. This behavior just started today, I've made no changes at my end so I assume Shaw is having some issues?
