How do I have my business static IPS enable with a Reverse PTR?
Contact business tech support, 1-877-742-9249 and they submit a form to have the PTR records created,
Have your security code and forward-lookups already created for your request PTRs.

Takes a few days to a week, to be processed and become active
I have contacted them and was told that it takes from an hour to two days. It has been 2 days. When I do a PTR check I find that this has not been done. Can you explain the process.

To me it appears that the SOA at Shaw either does not exist for my IP or it has not been modified.
My understanding is,
The tech support agent fills out a form, submits to to Network Operations (or similar group), they look at the form, confirm if it is complete/acceptable, (how long they take to look at the form can be days depending on how busy they are), if not acceptable, they send it back to the rep who you talked to, who is supposed to call you back, if it is acceptable, they setup the PTR record, and it goes into effect within 12 hours on the network.
It would be helpful to have this explained to me at the time of request. I hope this is the case and I will wait a while longer before contacting them again. Thanx
