Are these Community Notifications email? If so, you can turn off email notifications as shown here Manage Your Community Notifications.
Let me know if this is what you were looking for.
No, I have shut them all OFF in Preferences and done a save - still etting them
If they're off in your preferences, you shouldn't be receiving any more emails. I'll need your password in order to log in and take a look for you. I'll send you a private message and we'll figure this out.
Hi Lance. Still receiving 20-30 "Re:Internet-xxxxx" nessages a day. Went to my preferences page and all is set to OFF.
Can you try going back into your preferences, setting all notifications to On, saving your changes and then setting them back to Off and saving your changes again? This may prompt the notifications to cease, as you should definitely not receive any when they're all set to Off.
Let me know,
Edit: Also, ensure that the 'People, Places and Content I'm following' is set to 'Never'. You could also manually unfollow specific content by clicking on Content in your main profile section, selecting 'Following' on the left, accessing the posts you're following and when you're there, on the right click the 'Following' link to unfollow it.
Last night, you chatted with Phillip, our wildly ubertalented rep, at Shaw — Use online chat to ask our Customer Care for help - Shaw.ca.
As you told him, you had the notifications turned off in your settings but were still receiving notifications by email. I had him assist you with turning off notifications, saving, and then logging out of community; and then logging back in and turning them off again.
Are you still getting email notifications or have they seemed to come to an end?
STILL getting everyone's emails....quite frustrating.
Hi simbubba. I don't have any answers on why you're still getting email notifications. I'm going to send you another private message and we'll try to figure this out.
