My iPhone 4 stopped recieving emails yesterday. Now it won't accept my password to log on. It's been so long since I've had to type it in I've forgotten it. Is there anyway to have it emailed to me? Thanks, Muryl
Sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced there, to reset your password you can follow the steps in this document here: https://community.shaw.ca/docs/DOC-1220.
Have you tried rebooting the iPhone 4 yet? If you set it up using the Exchange Active sync server, it may just need to be rebooted to correct the issue.
It wouldn't accept the automatic logon from the phone to access my email.
Thanks Ali!! Worked great!! Only problem is my iPhone's inbox is full of nNo Reply emails that I can't delete. Any ideas on how to delete them/
Thanks again for you quick and excellent response!!
Try deleting them using Webmail, see if that deletes them from your phone.
Finger swipe to the left should produce the delete option, no?
Also, found this on the Apple Support site:
Use the edit button, then select all messages you want to delete, and press "Delete" button. You still have to select one by one, but you'd have to do it anyway.
Hope this helps!
I tried those tricks but none worked. I checked again and they all were unread emails. Guess the phone hadn't downloaded the rest of the email. All is well now!! Thanks again for all the help!!!
