When I call someone, I can hear them, but they can't hear me. When I get a call, it works fine. Weird.
Hi there listokes,
First off, sorry you're encountering this fairly unusual problem. Can you try resetting your phone terminal, as shown here? Performing a DPT Pin-hole Reset.
If you're still experiencing this after performing the reset, the next thing to do will be to connect a phone directly to your Shaw phone terminal How To Connect a Phone Directly to Your Digital Phone Terminal.
Can you let me know if either of these things resolve the problem?
Thanks, for your suggestions. I tried, but I don't have the equipment that you referred to. I am going to make an appointment for a service call. Lindae.
Hi there Lindae,
If you're not sure where the phone modem is located, it's usually installed by your electrical panel, if you haven't had a look there yet. It's the main component of our phone service and usually, if you can get it and reset it as mentioned by Jeff and kevinds, it will fix the problem, or if not but you can connect a phone directly to the back of it and it works, it could indicate a problem with your house wiring.
If you can't seem to find it though, then please let us know if you've already called in, or if you'd like for us to book a service call for you as we can help you here.
