The Golf channel ( channel # 144) , only works intermittently, and when it does work it cuts in and out and eventually stops working. Any ideas on why this is always happening ?
This would be a signal issue to that channel. As per our document at How to troubleshoot poor picture quality / pixelation, unplug the power to the digital box for 30 seconds for a quick reset.
If it's still cutting in and out, reconnect the coaxial cable from the digital box to the wall outlet, also to both ends of the splitter. In case the splitter is having issues, try bypassing it.
