It says communication error and the code is curl_6. Only seem to be happening to Shaw VOD
SO it turns out you just reboot power cycle the gateway and reseat the coax cable. All is good now. Still curious on what would cause that error to begin with. It was working fine until tonight.
I haven't heard of that error before.
Is this at vod.shaw.ca? Or is it when you access VOD on the Gateway? All portals or just one?
IT happens on both portals. I'm going to do a hard reset. When I called I was told my modem is not online. Ill keep you posted
Someone messaged me that it's a communication issue between the Gateway and the portal. It looks like pulling the power cord, which you did, is the proper step to fix it.
OK so I ordered a free VOD and now when I finished it my screen went black and nothing is working. The portal is frozen
SO after 5 minutes it finally started to respond
