For 3 days now I've been experiencing internet that's slowed to a crawl. It's most noticeable on the NNTP news servers where I'm getting less than 1/10 my normal speed. Web pages load ok if they are light on content but things like watching videos on Youtube are impossible.
Been on Shaws tech support line for over an hour to try and resolve this which was pretty much a total waste of time. The techs solution? Upgrade my internet package. I'm happy with the level of service I now have if it would work properly.
Shaws internal speed test brings back better that expected speeds which tells me all my hardware and local connection is working fine.
When I perform speed tests outside Shaw it says a totally different story.... that are all low and inconsistent.
Is there any known outages in the network?
