I Press 'Main menu' key and it doesn't respond. How to solve this problem?
This may be related to a problem we had last night, please try rebooting the box by disconnecting the power if this is an HD guide unit that you are using.
This issue happens to me quite often lately....(menu key not responding) and last night all keys became unresponsive (guide, up/down, etc). I did a full re-boot and that was successful the second time. Just a bit tedious to have to do this about every other day.
Also getting quite a few online/offline messages. I checked the thread on this and it seems largely unresolved?
This really should not be a frequent occurrence. If you're resetting the box and it fixes the problem, it could be a software issue. We're not tracking anything like that though, so what we could do from here is to reload the software package, which may prevent it from happening again. Let me know if it continues as a problem and we can help with that.
For the Offlines messages though, in most circumstances, when they come up rarely it would likely be a result of an issue we're addressing on our end. Could you let me know how many times you normally see these? Once a day or more? It's possible that the signal levels to your cable box are not where they should be, as you could see these messages frequently if that's the case.
Thanks for the response. The more frustrating part is definitely the menu button not working. The re-boot is the best bet for now? If this continues would I call the support line? I'd say the online/offline issue is once a day at most.
Thanks for the update. For the Offline messages, most likely in that case it's probably not signal-related.

One last quick thought, Matt - I should say that the non-responsive issue only began after we added on movie central and the tech (online) made a few setting adjustments. Could this be related?? If not, I will fire you a message if it happens this evening. Thanks again,
Probably co-incidence as adding channels or packages won't affect the behaviour of the box in that way. Definitely let us know though. I may not be here when you respond, but I'll be back in tomorrow morning or another moderator would be able to help you out before that.
