Has there been any consideration for a "Status" page?

I have been dealing with a few outages (Internet/Email) and issues (VOD/Channels/Errors) over the last 6 months and they all seem to be "known issues".  Can't Shaw dedicate a webpage on the support site to "known issues" or "announcements" so people can visit the page to see information with possible resolution times?  Having a dedicated page would make things a lot easier than having to phone in and wait, or go through the forums searching through issues.  Something like the BC Hydro website which they have dedicated to outages.
