Email on iPad

I have been accessing my Shaw email on my iPad for over a year now. My problem/question is:


Why are my folders not updating? When I create new folders on my computer with the mail app (on my Mac) or delete folders, they are not changing on my iPad. I've tried re-adding my account and syncing it from the computer but it's still not working and is even changing the format so I can't see any of my folders.


Please help :-)
