I followed all directions on Enabling Remote Access on my webmail (twice!). I m doing this mainly to allow access to my email application (Thunderbird), running on my laptop, when I am at work and outside of the shaw domain.
- changed incoming server to pop.shaw.ca... it works fine and can receive emails.
- changed outgoing server to SMTP "mail.shaw.ca" port 587 (STARTTLS) and using login of <user>@shaw.ca.
I cannot connect to the outbound SMTP server. Its not even getting to the point where its logging in.
I even waited a day. Still not working.
