I have a Mac and am using Thunderbird. I can receive emails, but cannot send them. Help please!

Check the settings and let us know if that helps. If not, let us know details of what your outgoing settings are or if you get any specific error message when sending. Also, let us know if the problem occurs while connected to a Shaw internet connection,
I tried switching the settings to shawmail.ok.shawcable.net as suggested, also switched back to mail.shaw.ca..
In BOTH cases, I received an error message that said "Login to server mail.shaw.ca failed."
Currently my SMTP settings are..
Server Name: mail.shaw.ca
Authentication Password: normal password
Connection Security: STARTTLS
Since you are getting a login error, try checking your login here first: http://wm.shaw.ca. If that doesn't work then, let me know.
Use the settings you currently have above.
I am able to send and receive emails on Shaw Webmail. When I access Webmail, I'm using Firefox - so none of the settings above would even be used, as far as I know...
Try re-entering the password in your settings. Lastly if that doesn't work, I suggest to delete the account on Thunderbird and and re-set it up again with the instructions form our document.
