So I'm currently unable to delete programs off of my pvr. Any ideas as to why?
Also, why do I feel like I post a new problem every day to the forum? I hope these things will all be fixed soon...
We have resolved a service interruption that was affecting customers in your area earlier.
Could you please re-test now and let me know if you are still unable to delete recordings on your PVR?

Just curious dkmcmanus, charona53, clievers, b4hobbes, lordofthething are any of you experiencing issues deleting recordings as azeif is currently?
no issues for me as of last night with deleting..... other than a few series recordings that have decided they dont want to be recorded which started last sunday....same 2 shows showed the white circle for this sunday and could only be set to record for a later time....no conflicts with other shows...kind of odd as next sunday they are so far listed as set to record as usual
SOmetimes at the end of viewing a recording it will ask if you want to keep recording and I click "no, delete recording" and it will still be in my listing but will usually delete on a second or third attempt.

I had the same problem a couple of days ago. For some reason the default "Keep Until" settings got changed on a couple of my shows. (yet another bug in a long list of bugs on the HD Guide)
To fix it, I did the following:
1. Open the List
2. Select the show to delete
3. Press 'Delete"
4. When the HD guide options come up, look at the "Keep Until" setting (Sorry, I can't remember the exact name)
5. Change the setting to whatever the ones you CAN delete say (I think it is "until space needed" or something like that)
That fixed my problem. I do agree with some of the other posters...sometimes you just have to do it multiple times and it eventually deletes

Sorry, I misunderstood, why there was an issue: there was a technical issue that had to be addressed on the back-end.
[shaw]ali Could you please go into more specifics? I know you said before you (or possibly one of the other shaw guys) don't like to get technical in these forums (for whatever reason), so if this is a problem, you could always send me a personal message. It would be greatly appreciated
