trying to set up my shaw email on new Kindle Fire device

i am trying to setup shaw email on a new Kindle Fire device.  Have followed instructions provided to another user for same device on March 10th using manual setup process with POP3 server = pop.shaw.ca, security type SSL/TLS, port = 110, SMTP server = mail.shaw.ca, port = 587.

 

With these settings the setup fails with message  "unable to finish account setup - unable to connect to server safely"
