Problem watching movies on Netflix

I have Shaw internet Broadband 50 and I am very happy with the download and upload speeds with my wired connection. However, when I use my Apple TV to watch a movie on Netflix, using Wi-Fi, the streaming is often interrupted for 30 seconds or so while the video catches up. Download speeds in the room where the Apple  TV is located (as measured with the Shaw Speedtest app for IOS) are routinely about half or less what ithey are on the wired connection. I spoke to a Shaw technician by phone a couple of weeks ago and he did a couple of things, including (I believe) refreshing the IP addresses i've been using. All was well for a week or so, but now I'm getting those interruptions again.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.
