I am continuously missing recordings and getting kicked out of recordings back to live TV (these are only the major problems). I have had these problems since I purchased my 3510 in January 2013. I have posted to this forum , Shaw online chat and have spoken to telephone tech support with no help at all. At this point I refuse to unplug my unit to reset it (my power cord is gong to wear out).
This PVR does not work!
Shaw continues to promise updates which when released do nothing or don't even get released due to some delay. I have been patient and waited for this PVR to be fixed with no satisfaction at all. The only thing Shaw has done since I received this PVR has been to raise my bill twice.
I am at my wits end and don't know what to do anymore. I would switch in a second to another service provider, but in my area there is no real alternative offering equivalent services.
What can I (we) do to fix this problem?
