Gateway communication error

So I've had my Gateway for about two weeks now and I love it but I'm finding more and more I'm seeing the following message "Cannot communicate with the Gateway.. Now so far we have had Shaw do two soft resets and one full reset none of this appears to be correcting the problem .. Any idea what might be causing this? Will a tech need to attend again to get this corrected ie swap the Gateway ?.. Issue only happens on recorded shows while playing back and is corrected by clicking the live button and then back to the recorded show , at which point it plays normally
