we are having both wifi and pvr issues. wifi wont stay connected and pvr says it is recording (red record light on) but no show is recording. husband says it is a router issue. but we dont know how to fix it...suggestions?

Sounds like a couple different issues are going on there, both of which I can help with.
The first thing I wonder about the WiFi problem is if you're experiencing the same trouble with a wired connection (plugged into your modem)? Knowing that would help determine if the problem is affecting the Internet connection overall, or just the WiFi signal. Also, are you using a single modem/router combo provided by us, or a separate router in addition to the modem we provided (two units plugged into each other)?
As for the PVR, I've seen that type of problem occasionally and it shouldn't be difficult to resolve. I would suggest resetting the PVR to start with by unplugging it for a minute and plugging it back in. If that doesn't help, see if you can start another recording and stop it to get the recording light to go off.
