We moved our digital cable box to another room and now it won't connect saying An error occurred in the Tv stream, try again or change channels. We have tried to restart the cable box a few times now and nothing has changed the problem.
Can you try connecting the cable in the room you have relocated the box to directly to the back of your TV (without the box connected) and let me know if you get any channels this way? If you do get channels with the cable attached directly from the wall to your TV, we'll know that outlet has an active cable signal and can run some further tests on the box. If you aren't able to get any channels with the cable directly to your TV, however, that cable outlet is probably not active right now and we'd need to send a technician out to activate it for you before you can use the cable box in that location.
The digital dvd was moved to a room that was using a regular digital cable box. It is not the line. I have been on hold with shaw since about five minutes after I wrote this discussion topic.
