I have been troubleshooting with Vonage for two weeks now on my VOIP line as I could hear great but my outgoing audio was all chopped up. I upgraded my shaw system to 2.4 mbps upload and reset everything. I turned off the cisco DPC3825 firewall, removed all but one computer and the VOIP adapter from the modem
Finally I ran a jitter test - and it is upwards of 285 with wild swings. using Free VoIP Quality Test
all items now point to Shaw and this seems just unreasonable. I see that there has been little discussion lately on this topic. Hopefully you have a fix!
