I can connect my MacBook, IPAD , but not my iPod to the wifi.
How can I connect my iPod?
ALso can't add any devices to the shaw wifi app....grgr ( consumer centre)
Alright, thanks for the additional info there.
The issue with the iPod may be to do with the security type (encryption) that it is set to use when connecting to WiFi networks. Typically the default setting is WPA2 these days, so I'd suggest checking that the iPod is set to that. If it already is, maybe try another setting. It's safe to say though that your WiFi network is configured correctly, considering all of your other devices can connect just fine. Beyond my above suggestion, you may want to get in touch with Apple for some assistance with getting the iPod connected to WiFi.
For the Customer Centre, I'm guessing you are receiving an authentication error when trying to log in. Have you tried the "Forgot Your Password?" link? Clicking that will guide you through resetting it, and should resolve the problem in case that is where it lies. If that doesn't seem to help, the next step is to create a new account by clicking "Create an Account" on the login page.
Good morning birkett
This is something I'm sure we can get sorted out for you, but some more information on the problems would be helpful first.
With your iPod, are you not able to see the wireless network at all, or is there an error message when trying to connect to it?
Same question with regard to adding devices to Shaw Go WiFi... what is happening to prevent you from doing so? Typically you would just want to connect to "Shaw Open" from said WiFi device, and that will automatically register it to your account.
If you could fill me on the above questions that'd be great, we'll go from there.
Yes, it shows the shaw wifi number. I add my password and the password does not get excepted. Even tried creating. New password ....no go
In regards to My other question: I can't log into the community centre.
Where or how do I find the WPA2
HAve have reset my password three times.
I'm not too sure about the security setting on an iPod. Apple has a support page which may be helpful: Apple - Support - iPod touch - Wi-Fi Troubleshooting Assistant
If you've already reset your Customer Centre password without success, please try creating a new account and logging in that way. We do have a guide for that located here My Account Registration / Forgot Password
