WHY is rootsweb.com & ancestry.com blacklisted ?
How can blacklisting be prevented?
Kind of, if an email is being detected as spam, and you don't have it set to delete immediately, it will be forever gone, if you have it set to Tag and Deliver to Inbox, it will show in your inbox as Suspected SPAM, but that is the only way that I know of, to tell if they are being detected as spam.
If they are being detected as spam, steps can be taken so they aren't in the future, but until you determine if that is the cause, I'm not sure anybody can help you
If I sign-up for a trial, would I suspect the same with my @shaw.ca address? May try it to see if I get an email during sign-up
blacklisted in what way?
E-mail from rootsweb.com is not being delivered to shaw addresses. This is at least the 4th day of blacklist.
check your spam setting, try Tag and Deliver to Inbox, see if it shows up, but tagged as spam
I checked a couple of their known email sending server IPs, but none came up blacklisted...
Other than that, no idea
NO changes have been made on this end in several years!!!!!
Why would it magically just start??
If they are being tagged as junk/spam, that setting will still allow them to be delivered to your inbox, if something else is going on, that will help to figure it out.
If they are, then go into Webmail and Report Not Spam, and progress can be made to fix, if they still aren't being delivered after tag and deliver is set, something else is going on
Shaw blacklist work different than the rest of the industry?????
WE ARE NOT RECEIVING THE EMAILS.
Everyone else is receiving their mail from the list.

It is Magically fixed. She is receiving her email from Rootsweb.
Well having SHAW & Rootsweb look at their computer but both say they made no changes.
When I had my practice, when something was not working, I would visit. I would place my hands crossed on the computer. I would then ask them to show me the problem. Most of the time it would magically fix itself because they were paying more attention to what they were doing.
I consider this closed.
Have you been able to determine what your spam settings are set to yet? We need to confirm this setting first.
