OK, thanks. I don't know if it's related, but when I bring up Shaw dot ca on my phone's browser, it claims I'm outside the Shaw service area. Not so: I can see the command center on Cloverdale in Victoria right now.

Because it bases your location from your IP address, when using your cellular data, Rogers for example, it usually uses a Montreal or sometimes a Toronto IP, and is going off that.
I'm not sure the ShawOpen WiFi locations are all properly GeoIP registered either
