I lost internet access starting morning Sep 05, 2013, in Richmond BC area around Francis and No. 3 road.
I tried to reset the router, modem, etc. and I confirmed that the router can get IP address from Shaw and gateway information, etc.
Tried to ping the assigned IP address it works but not the gateway and of course no ping success on internet domain.
I tried to call the Shaw support help line around 9:30 a.m. PST. There is an announcement tell me that there is a internet problem in Garden City, Cambie and Westminster areas. However, there is no information of root cause an estimated restore time.
Did my area being affected?
Please advise when shall the internet service be restored?
