I've tried everything that I could - unplugging, removing battery, pinhole reset and still no dial tone. Next?
This might be caused by either your phone terminal being offline or no signal being sent from the phone terminal to the wall jack or phone. How many lights are on your terminal? Is it an Arris or a Motorola?
It's an Arris, 5 lights are on steady, the Link light is off as well as the telephone 2 and the telephone 1 light is flashing green.
Telephone 1 flashing means the phone terminal/modem thinks there is a telephone off-hook somewhere.
Try unplugging your phones from the wall, one at a time, or plugging a single telephone into the back of the terminal, where the line is currently coming out of.
