I am having issues accessing youtube, google music, gmail, play store, etc on my shaw internet connection. I have reset the modem, my router, restarted all my attached devices, with no luck. I am located in Brentwood Bay BC.

Try a traceroute to youtube.com see what happens?
Also, can you reach just www.google.com ? They are the same servers as youtube, not sure about the other google services
I linked the result of the traces from my desktop. Random youtube videos don't work, some do. I am unable to sync my google services on my phone over shaw, however I am able to just fine on Rogers.

Neither of those traces look like they have an issue...
Now I wonder what the Roger's traces look like... California having issues? I would think that many other providers would be having issues too then.
I was reading into an issue with Shaw hosting a co-location service for Google, causing issues for many people in the Vancouver Island area accessing youtube and other google services. I tried using a different DNS server, and that seems to have solved the issues for now. Let's hope that these are growing pains and that Shaw fixes the issues soon

Yeah, most medium to large ISPs do that too.
Those traces, wern't using the Vancouver servers though, changing DNS servers though, should take you to different servers as well
Yep, these DNS servers are located in Ottawa. No problems now
Oh ya, it makes sense that they co-locate the servers. Higher speeds accessing youtube etc. IF it works as advertised...
